This page lists the various groups and organizations at Crown of Life.  If you would like to get involved with any of these, contact COL for more information.  As Christians, we know that the way to nourish our faith and strengthen our ties to our Lord is through the study of His Word. Crown of Life offers a number of weekly opportunities to get into the Word of God: Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Small Group, Women's Group, Men's Group, etc.

Choir: We gather our choir for special services, especially in the Christmas season. Watch for announcements or contact Pastor.

Cleaning Crew: The Ministry Center is constantly being used and needs to be maintained. If you would like to help out by vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, etc., then this is the job for you. Please speak with Roger Bry for more details.

Drama Team (ACTS): Our Drama team "Acclaiming Christ Through Skits" (ACTS) serves to create a visual and creative way to spread the message through meaningful, humorous, and spiritual dramas. Speak with Tim Johnson if this sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Setup Team (Partner Groups): Serving on a Sunday Morning Partner Group entails setting up before first service, cleaning up after last service, and bringing snacks during the month you are assigned. Please check the list on the back of our cupboard in the kitchen for exact duties and details. Set up begins at 8:00 a.m. and clean up ends approximately at noon. We ask everyone to serve ... not everything involves lifting. For more information, please speak with Roger Bry.

Growth Groups: Small groups gather at various places and times for Bible study, fellowship, assimilation of new members and service to God's Kingdom and our community.  For more information check out the small groups menu in the sidebar.

Technician Team: If you love electronics and want to learn how the equipment works as well as hands on experience of running the audio, video, and lighting of the worship services, please join our team.We provide periodic training for this work.  Speak with Tim Johnson.

Worship Team (Band & Singers): If God has given you the talent to sing or play an instrument and you want to use your talent to praise God in our worship service, then speak with Tim Johnson for an audition.

Youth Groups: These groups are lots of fun led by Christian adults, with a Bible study included. They always have God's Word as a part. This could include talking while waiting in line for a ride, having a short devotion over pizza, or just talking about what a great world God has given to us! These youth groups exist to have fun while praising God.  See the event calendar for info on when they meet.  COL Kids is for children K-6 and Ignite is our students ministry for junior and senior high school.

Men's Felllowship The men of Crown of Life have a number of regular and special activities.  BoB (Band of Brothers) meets every other Saturday morning for breakfast at Goodfellas in Corona.  This group has also sponsored a barbershop quartet to sing for Sweetheart Sunday, a classic car show, a BBQ and football with college football on the big screen at church and is looking into sponsoring a men's "retreat" although we will likely only retreat as far as the church building in Corona.   Starting in Fall of 2010, plans are for basketball nights for the younger guys and the young at heart.   Call the office for more info or speak with Chuck Meyers at church.

Women's Ministries The steering committee for women's minsitries leads the way in planning "ladies' onlty" events such as "Ladies Luau,"  Christmas Tea, Spring Tea & Secret Sisters, Girls Night Out - a Friday night once a month time of fun, fellowship, food and crafts and the women's minsitry in the past has also sponsored the Easter Breakfast.  Cathy Reisinger can fill you in on the details.
